FAQ

  1. What are Lexcam patches for?
Lexcam overpatches are designed to help keep your CGM sensor secure and protected during everyday life—workouts, showers, and everything in between.

  2. Are they compatible with Dexcom G7 / Stelo / Libre 3 / Omnipod?
Yes. We offer patches made to fit Dexcom G7 & Stelo, and we also have options compatible with FreeStyle Libre (including Libre 2|3), Omnipod.

  3. Can I wear them while swimming or showering?
Yes. Our patches are waterproof and built to stay on through showers, sweat, and swimming.

  4. How long does one patch last?
Our patches are made to match your sensor wear: up to 10 days for Dexcom G7/Stelo and up to 14 days for Libre 3 (depending on your routine and skin type).

  5. Are Lexcam patches latex-free and hypoallergenic?
Yes. Our patches are latex-free and hypoallergenic, designed to be gentle on sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin or a history of reactions, we recommend testing a small piece on a small area first to make sure it doesn’t cause irritation for you.

  6. Are they kid-friendly?
Yes. Lexcam patches are suitable for both adults and kids — great for school days, sports, and active weekends.

  7. Do I need scissors to make them fit?
No. Our patches are pre-cut, so you can apply them straight from the pack—no trimming required.

  8. Do they leave sticky residue?
They’re designed to remove cleanly with minimal residue. If you do notice any stickiness, a little warm water or oil typically takes it right off.

  9. How should I prep my skin before applying?
Clean the area (soap + water or alcohol wipe), let it dry completely, and avoid lotions or oils. Trimming hair in the area can also help with comfort and wear time.

  10. What’s the best way to remove the patch?
Peel slowly from the edge (don’t rip it off). For easiest removal, use warm water in the shower or apply baby oil/adhesive remover around the edges and let it sit for a few seconds.
